Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial statements, trial balances, and profit & loss reports.
- Handle payroll processing for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents and financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and budgets in collaboration with senior accountants.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and local Nevada tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
