Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and payroll support.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to manage ledgers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel (formulas and formatting).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
