Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Support the Finance Manager with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Perform general ledger duties as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet functions.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
