Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ client accounts
- Lead audit preparation and documentation for SOC 1 and IRS compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Train junior accounting staff on ERP systems and compliance protocols
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and Oracle NetSuite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX, and Texas tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience with ERP implementation and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
