Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate.
- Prepare and send invoices, and track payments received.
- Assist with payroll processing and support for tax preparation.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
