Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements for clients.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll accurately and on time.
- Tax Prep Support: Gather necessary documentation and assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations.
- Vendor Management: Maintain vendor files, process invoices, and handle expense reports efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or corporate environment.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Skills: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and team members.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
