Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Generate financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
