Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for management
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings (federal/state)
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external financial reviews
- Support month-end/year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and financial strategy
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- Advanced QuickBooks and MS Excel proficiency with pivot tables/VLOOKUP
- Proven experience with payroll processing and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CPA) preferred
