Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports as required.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and budget tracking.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
