Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting for 15+ departments
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Ensure SOX compliance and regulatory documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in month-end close and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in manufacturing or retail accounting
