We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in El Paso, Texas. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements to support management decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with year-end audit preparations and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
