Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and ledgers.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents under supervision.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly (training provided).
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Philadelphia office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
