Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll entries and ensure strict compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and assist with inventory valuation.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles and tax preparation basics.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
