How You Will Make an Impact:
As our Bookkeeper, you will be the gatekeeper of our clients' financial health, managing day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
- Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, trial balances, and general ledger maintenance.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll for clients using our integrated software, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Compliance: Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries and financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; Sage experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: CPAs, CMA, or Enrolled Agents are highly valued.
