Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts with 100% accuracy.
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Record daily financial transactions into QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and tax form preparation.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote or hybrid environment.
