- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with same-day payment processing
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions daily
- Generate financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing for small business clients
- Prepare sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Provide real-time financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Ability to meet daily deadlines with same-day payment processing
- Excellent attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Valid North Carolina bookkeeper certification preferred
- Reliable transportation for occasional client meetings
