Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation support.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data and generate invoices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding account status and inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
