Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and bill payments.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll entries and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Perform monthly and year-end audits, providing detailed summaries of financial findings.
- Assist with the month-end close process and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
