- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts payable/receivable
- Process payroll and manage HMRC submissions compliant with UK regulations
- Prepare VAT returns and support quarterly tax filings
- Generate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Implement digital bookkeeping solutions using Xero/QuickBooks
- Liaise with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' UK bookkeeping experience
- Xero/QuickBooks certification essential
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC compliance
