Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Process payroll for a diverse client base with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for tax documents and invoices.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
