Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll processing.
- Process and review invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows.
- Assist with tax preparation support, including 1099s and W-2s.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are posted correctly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CPA) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
