Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documents in coordination with external auditors.
- Process payroll and manage benefits administration for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to streamline financial workflows and data entry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
