Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and timely in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax documents, and monthly reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Excel is required.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
