Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems efficiently
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks software for streamlined accounting workflows
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Develop financial reports to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state)
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and intercompany reconciliations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
