Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Process payroll and prepare necessary tax filings and documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for audits and client reviews.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
