- Coordination with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries within 24 hours
- Implementation and optimization of billing workflows using SAP and QuickBooks
- Monthly reporting on KPIs including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and collection rates
- Compliance monitoring for HIPAA and SOX regulations in healthcare billing processes
- Process improvement initiatives to reduce billing errors by 15% quarterly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in medical or corporate billing systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP platforms
- Proven track record of reducing DSO by 20% in previous roles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credentials a plus
