Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with 100% accuracy
- Lead month-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Develop and maintain internal controls per SOX compliance
- Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting
- Manage audit processes with external partners
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary training system
- Automate financial reporting using Power BI and Alteryx
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA certification required
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- ERP proficiency (SAP or Oracle Financials)
- Proven track record of process improvement implementation
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
