Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments via phone and email.
- Reconcile monthly billing statements and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process customer payments and update our internal billing software systems.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing statements, invoices, and payment plans.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a high-volume setting.
