Responsibilities
- Manage the daily invoicing process and ensure all billing cycles are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform account reconciliation and investigate discrepancies in accounts receivable.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and resolve payment disputes.
- Utilize billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Meditech) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports to identify trends and improve cash flow.
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of billing software and medical billing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
