Responsibilities
- Process and manage complex medical/invoice billing cycles with 99.8% accuracy
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with insurance providers and clients for payment resolution
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce days in accounts receivable
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance in all billing operations
- Train junior staff on billing systems and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing software
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations
- Ability to maintain composure under high-volume deadlines
