What You Will Do:
- Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle, from claim submission to payment posting.
- Review denied or rejected claims to identify root causes and submit appeals.
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with insurance carriers and patients regarding billing inquiries.
- Utilize billing software to track account statuses and update records in real-time.

Responsibilities
- Review and submit medical and insurance claims to payers with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitor claim status and follow up on pending payments and denials.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, errors, and rejected claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient accounts and billing records.
- Prepare and send invoices and statements to clients and patients.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., AthenaHealth, Epic, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams.
