- Resolve billing discrepancies through detailed account analysis and stakeholder communication
- Optimize revenue cycle by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing solutions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding
- Generate monthly financial reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in ICD-10/CPT coding and revenue cycle management systems
- Proficient with Epic, Cerner, or NextGen EHR platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functionality
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
