Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims and patient invoices with 99.9% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with insurers and patients
- Generate monthly revenue reports and financial statements for leadership review
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Train billing staff on new processes and system upgrades
- Collaborate with collections team to manage outstanding accounts receivable
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance carriers
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and Massachusetts billing regulations
- Proficient in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
