Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for 500+ monthly patient encounters
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and underpayments within 5 business days
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies for A/R over 60 days
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge accuracy and documentation compliance
- Train staff on billing system updates (Epic Resolute platform preferred)
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive leadership
- Conduct quarterly audits to identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 claims submission
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute or similar EHR billing modules
- Proven track record of reducing A/D days by 15%+ annually
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for insurance verification challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
