Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for healthcare clients
- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct payer/patient communication
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Utilize Epic and Medisoft billing software daily
- Train staff on billing best practices and system updates
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 forms
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a major plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume billing cycles
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Associate's degree in healthcare finance or related field
