Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex invoices across multiple payment systems
- Resolve billing discrepancies with clients and internal departments
- Generate monthly financial reports and aging analysis
- Collaborate with sales teams on contract terms and billing setup
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA)
- Train staff on billing software and process improvements
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar billing software
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience with AR/AP cycles and collections
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Medicaid billing requirements
