Responsibilities
- Process and post customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner using accounting software.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer customer inquiries regarding invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Generate and distribute monthly financial reports to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Epic) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
