- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Manage accounts receivable with aging analysis and collection strategies
- Document all billing activities in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Train staff on billing process updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Medisoft
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Nevada Medicaid and commercial payers
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in all processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
