Responsibilities
- Process and distribute invoices accurately within established SLAs
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment exceptions through proactive communication
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports with ERP systems daily
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with sales teams to resolve contract billing ambiguities
- Implement process improvements to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Expert knowledge of revenue cycle management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in reducing billing errors below 2%
- Experience with electronic claim submission (Availity, Change Healthcare)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
