Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims and patient invoices
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account adjustments
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with insurance companies and patients for payment resolution
- Generate billing reports and analyze financial data
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing processes
- Train staff on billing procedures and updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
