Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 500+ commercial accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and process complex insurance claims
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts and payment plans
- Analyze aging reports and optimize revenue collection workflows
- Implement billing process improvements using SAP and QuickBooks
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial reconciliations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or utility billing experience
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or SAP)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP expertise
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
