Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for insurance claims and patient accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through precise analysis and follow-up
- Maintain accurate patient records in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage and resolve payment issues
- Generate monthly revenue reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing procedures and compliance updates
- Audit charge entries for accuracy and proper coding
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim processing
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and Medisoft billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with CMS 1500 and UB-04 claim forms
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced healthcare environment
