Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct insurer/patient communication
- Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing compliance updates (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize charge capture
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to resolve complex insurance denials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
