Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy across multiple payers
- Resolve billing discrepancies through proactive communication with patients and insurance providers
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze aging accounts receivable data
- Implement coding updates and regulatory compliance changes to billing systems
- Train staff on new billing protocols and software functionalities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and NextGen billing platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
