Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment application, and account reconciliations
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional service
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure contract compliance and accurate revenue recognition
- Optimize billing workflows using SAP and Salesforce platforms
- Prepare monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Support month-end closing processes and financial audits
- Implement process improvements to reduce billing errors and DSO
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience in a tech or SaaS environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and CRM platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Certified Billing Professional (CBP) or equivalent preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a matrix organization
