- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues
- Generate monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Meditech) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills for patient and insurance interactions
