Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims efficiently using Epic EMR systems
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Manage patient payment plans and collections processes
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy (ICD-10/CPT)
- Generate monthly financial reports for departmental leadership
- Stay updated on CMS and insurance policy changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic Resolute RCM and NextGen EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
