Responsibilities
- Manage and process invoices, bills of lading, and billing records with a focus on 100% accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Review and reconcile monthly billing statements to identify discrepancies and resolve complex billing issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments to clarify billing questions and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and update customer billing information in our state-of-the-art ERP systems and CRM platforms.
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and assist the finance team with month-end close procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies and relevant industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GAAP).
- Identify trends in billing data to recommend process improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency with billing software and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Sage, or Oracle) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated customer-first mindset.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Detail-oriented problem-solver capable of working independently and as part of a team.
