- Manage end-to-end billing processes including coding, charge entry, and claim submission
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation compliance for accurate reimbursement
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic EMR and specialized revenue cycle software
- Analyze aging reports to minimize accounts receivable and improve cash flow
- Conduct audits to ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
- Train staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or large clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar credential required
- Expert proficiency in Epic EMR, Medisoft, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
