- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with payers and providers
- Optimize revenue cycle by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive leadership review
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and insurance regulations
- Train new billing staff on company protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with AR aging and denial management
